The Farm Flying & Gun Club (FFGC) provides the aviation enthusiast a unique opportunity and experience by providing a year round “Fly In” destination point complete with hunting, camping, fishing, shooting, boating and other outdoor activities on site. Facilities include hangar space, camping areas, full service RV parking, guest house facilities, local transportation, lakes, ponds, hiking & riding trails and other amenities.
Ever since man started flying for fun we have strived for a place to go and a reason to fly there. The “$100 Hamburger” is the epitome of the extent we will go in order to justify flying our planes.
The truth is, there are very few places we can just get in our planes and go there for fun. It’s actually quite an exercise in logistics to plan an airplane trip. Once you decide where you want to go, you have to arrange for tie downs, transportation and lodging once you get there. Then you have to rent boats, cars, schedule activities, etc. all within the scope of your weather window and travel radius.
With over 280 acres of prime land in Johnson County Georgia, 2500’ of grass runway, hangar, camping and shower facilities, FFGC provides a one stop aviation destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Imagine being able to grab your kids, spouse or best friend, hop in the plane and head out on a moment notice knowing all the while all you need is an overnight bag.
The FFGC membership model was created as a multi-tier, annually renewing unlimited use arrangement similar to hunting and fishing camps. This to include all hunting seasons, guest privileges and special event opportunities.
Membership is exclusive and limited to a specific number of members at each level. New members must be recommended and/or approved by existing members.
